2019 Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships

It was an amazing day at the 2019 Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships in Canada. I couldn’t have been prouder of the 4 Exclusive PT Lifters that represented their Country (3 for the first time) at this Competition.

First Up, Tom Morgan... Representing Wales Tom pulled out the bag an unbelievable performance. With Personal Bests in the Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift and Total he became the Junior Commonwealth Champ in the 83Kgs weight class. Not only that, his performance was so good he was the best Junior Equipped Lifter of the whole competition!

An absolutely MASSIVE CONGRATS to this man!

🥇Squat (257.5KG - 10KG PB) 🥇Bench (192.5KG - 32.5KG PB) 🥇Deadlift (237.5KG - 7.5KG PB) 🥇Total (687.5KG - 50KG PB) 🥇Best Junior + Sub-Junior Equipped lifter

Vicky Mirceta... Representing England for the first time, Vicky ‘peaked’ perfectly at this competition. Getting all 3 Bench Press attempts of 65Kgs, 67.5Kgs and a Personal Best of 70Kgs on her third, secured her Silver Medal in the 52Kgs class! To achieve a Silver Medal and a new PB at her First International is a brilliant achievement and I’m so pleased and proud of this Superstar top mate of mine! 😀

Lisa Pilkington... Lisa competed in the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships and in doing achieved a life-long dream to represent her Country. Another lifter saving her best performance ever for this platform, Bench Pressing 95Kgs (Personal Best) and in turn coming home with a Silver Medal in the Bench Press in the 84+Kgs Category! Well done to Lisa too – amazing effort and performance! Well done my friend!

Emma Ludlow... Emma competed in her first International too!! She did incredibly well, equalling her Bench Press Comp PB of 70Kgs to secure a Bronze Medal in the Bench Press in the 57Kgs category! Another fantastic effort and performance by Emma! Well done buddy!

Follow our progress...
